Scott Hall – Owner, Technology Specialist

scottScott Hall brings three important areas together for our non-profit partner needs – technology, media and business. Scott directs all JMS technologies, delivering expertise to everyday situations and customized solutions to fit the needs of each organization.

Scott’s previous experience is in broadcast media technology.  Scott’s education starts with a B.A. in Business Administration with focus on organization management and also includes Microsoft certifications MCSE and MCSA.  This and his education aids in providing guidance for the member-based organizations seeking growth and exposure.

Josie Chavez Hall – Owner, Administration and Membership Specialist

Josie Chavez Hall has over twenty-five years of administration experience. She worked twenty years as a paralegal and law office administrator in the Denver area prior to co-founding JMS in 2005.

Josie manages the Association of Corporate Counsel – Colorado Chapter as well as the Colorado Court Reporters Association. Josie also works on business development and provides meeting planning and administrative support for multiple clients.

 

Mary Chavez Rudolph, Ph.D – Owner, Education Specialist

Mary brings expertise in education and training, leadership development and certification. Mary has a masters in counseling psychology and counselor education, a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Innovation and she has extensive experience with professional associations. She has served as a volunteer in board member and officer positions and served as Executive Director for a large national association.

Robert Chavez – Client Services Manager

Robert Chavez has been with JMS for over nine years and he works on all association accounts, managing memberships, registrations and sponsorships. He provides meeting planning support and helps manage the JMS office.

Michelle Reyes – Client Support & Account Coordinator

Michelle Reyes has been with JMS for over seven years and she works on all association accounts. She supports member registration and events. When you call or come in, Michelle is usually the first person you will meet and she will help to answer all your questions.

Deborah Ortiz – Association Executive

Deborah has over 25 years experience working with non-profit organizations and universities. She serves as the Executive Director for the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders, providing support to their Executive Board, annual conference, and oversees CSDCAS and all aspects of CAPCSD membership and administration. Deborah has a B.A. Degree in General Studies – Social, Behavioral, and Human Understanding Emphasis.

Ned Campbell – Director of Meetings and Continuing Education

ned.160Ned has over 30 years of experience working with non-profit organizations, primarily in the membership, continuing education and meetings areas. He developed expertise in association management, regulatory compliance, project management and business development while working for CPAs, accountants and bookkeepers. Ned serves as the Director of Meetings and Continuing Education for the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD) and oversees all of their meetings, annual conference, online education and CEU reporting. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and Florida Society of Association Executives.

Megan Woods – Manager

mwoodsMegan has over 13 years of experience working with non-profit organizations, primarily in education software administration and program management.  She served as the Manager of Accreditation Systems for a large non-profit prior to joining JMS.
Megan currently works as a Manager for JMS working with the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders.  Megan holds a master’s degree in Learning Design and Technology.

Colleen Schneider – Director of Meetings & Administration Support

schniederColleen’s background is in hospitality, specifically the hotel industry and she holds a degree in Hotel Management from Johnson & Wales University.  For over eleven years she worked for hotels in the catering and sales environment where she detailed many events including corporate, social, government and education. Negotiating contracts, working with meeting planners and taking care of hotel guests was part of her daily duties.  Colleen provides event planning and administration support to JMS Clients.

Jessica Montour – Director of Meetings & Administration Support

jessicaPrior to joining JMS Jessica has spent the majority of her professional career in Corporate America. For 15 years she worked at Fortune 500 corporations in consumer packaged goods honing her leadership skills as she represented “billion dollar brands”. An alumni of INROADS, Jessica has a proven track record of personal impact in leadership, is no stranger to creating and implementing infrastructure and brings solid and consistent experience to the table. In addition to the corporate experience, she also has a wealth of knowledge in the non profit world as a founding member of Pi Lambda Chi Latina Sorority which was established in 1994.

Violeta “Vy” Apodaca, Account Manager

Violeta is Bilingual in English and Spanish and is proud to be a CSU Ram! She was the first in her family to attend and graduate college. Violeta’s passion is working with First Generation, Low-Income students and families; assisting them on their pathway to college or career. Always looking for different ways to motivate and encourage our youth to reach for the sky.

Violeta is detail oriented. She also has extensive experience in Administration, Project Management and Event Planning. At JMS, she serves as the Latinas First Foundation Account Manager and provides support to their Leadership Team.  She helps oversee the planning and execution of their team meetings, annual luncheon, speed mentoring, and all other parts of the non-profit organization.

Some key alliances include legal resources that specialize in association and nonprofit organization law; management consulting firms focused on helping nonprofit organizations effectively address strategic issues; auditing and investment services; printing resources for promotional brochures, journals and newsletters; and insurance companies that specialize in working with associations.
