Josie Chavez Hall – Co Owner
Josie co-founded JMS Association Management Professionals 15 years ago after spending 23 years as a paralegal and law office administrator in the Denver area. Josie’s experiences of balancing the demands of multiple clients, project management and prioritizing assignments as a paralegal have benefitted her as the Managing Director for JMS. She provides support to all of JMS clients and she oversees her team of 11 employees.
Scott Hall – Co Owner
Scott provides the technology, finance and event planning expertise to JMS. He delivers his know how to everyday situations and provides customized solutions for each of our association clients. Scott designed and built Association Thrive ~ a membership and event management database tailored to the specific needs of professional associations. He has over ten years of experience serving in an Executive Director role for professional associations and he has executed hundreds of events from large multi-day conferences to board retreats and meetings. Scott has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado – Boulder.
Deborah Ortiz
Vice President of Client Relations
Deborah has over 25 years of experience working with non-profit organizations and universities. She serves as the Vice President of Client Relations. Deborah has a B.A. Degree in General Studies – Social, Behavioral, and Human Understanding Emphasis.
Ned Campbell
Executive Director
Ned has over 30 years of experience working with non-profit organizations, primarily in membership, continuing education and event planning. Ned serves as Executive Director CAPCSD. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and Florida Society of Association Executives.
Robert Chavez – Client Support and Account Coordinator
Robert Chavez is a Colorado Native and has been with JMS Association Management for over 10 years. He manages the office and works with all of our association clients on the day to day operations of each association. This includes membership management, sponsor / exhibit support, event registrations, data entry, mailings and maintaining supplies for each association.
Michelle Reyes – Client Support and Account Coordinator
Michelle is the friendly voice that answers the phones in our office and oversees all general office operations. She has been with JMS Association Management Professionals for 10 years and will get to know your association members and board members personally. She is the first person you will meet when you visit our offices and she assists with all administrative duties when our clients are preparing for their conferences. She maintains historical data for our clients and she keeps association databases up to date and accurate.
Megan Woods – Account Manager
Megan currently works as an Account Manager on the JMS Team and works with the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders in handling their central application program activities. Megan has over 14 years of experience working with non-profit organizations, primarily in education software administration and program management. Prior to joining the JMS Team, Megan was the Manager of Accreditation Systems for a large non-profit association.
Colleen Schneider – Administrative Executive
Michelle Martin
Michelle Martin serves as chapter administrator for JMS client Colorado Association of Corporate Counsel. Michelle is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a deeply-rooted knowledge of the legal industry. She served for decades as an in-house marketing executive for Rocky Mountain law firms and the consumer electronics industry. Her knowledge spans the areas of event planning, sponsorships, social media, and public/media relations. A Colorado native, Michelle holds a Journalism degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Mandie McKenzie
Director of Professional Development
Mandie began working in the role of Director of Professional Development for JMS in June 2023. She has had extensive opportunities managing meetings, events and conferences in a destination management company, nonprofit organization, city government agency, and two professional associations, in both professional and volunteer capacities.
In 2010, she joined Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and began serving as a volunteer with the North Florida Chapter. Mandie served on the Board of Directors, and worked with other Florida chapter leaders on a statewide committee for the state’s regional conference. She earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) professional designation through the Events Industry Council in 2014. She is a member of both MPI and American Society of Association Executives.
Sue Ryplewski
Administrative Support
Meet Sue, a Minnesota native, outdoor enthusiast and creative spirit. She loves to take on a new project, from carpentry to landscaping, photograhy or party planning, Sue enjoys it all.
